Mother forbade Snowy to leave home, and he decided to run away at night. As night fell, a bear cub came out of the house, tripped and fell. Grandson of old seal helped him got up. Snowy told him that he wanted to travel.

Seal helped him escape. He drove an ice floe to the shore and helped Snowy to climb up. Snowy swam to the station where the people lived. Snowy swam well, but it was impossible to swim to the shore. A girl saw him and rushed to save him. She pulled him to shore and carried into the house. There, her mother said that he should live with bears, because he would not survive without a mother. The girl and her mother went to look for Snowy’s mother. They found the bear, but it was not his mother.

The next morning, Snowy was awakened by the beating rays of the sun in his eyes. Bears stood around the small cub. Adult bears and their leader, a huge old bear said "Good morning" One of the bears added, "Poor, poor boy ... was lying for three days with fever, was constantly calling his mother... How do you feel, kid?". "Ok. I would like to my mother. "-, said Snowy. "Where do you live?" - asked Bear. "I do not know, but I sailed from the north". "The nearest village is about 30 km up the river" – said the old bear, - "We'll take him". Three adult bears prepared a big bag, where Snowy sat. "Be careful" - they said. "And you, baby, when you find a house, will come to visit us with your mother".

Snowy fell asleep. He woke up in his soft bed, and mother was sitting beside him and quietly smiling. Her smile was one of the most expensive in the world. "Oh, Snowy ... Never, never leave the house! I was so worried! ". Bear rushed to her and whispered, "Mommy, my love!".
