Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.
"Nothing can stop me", answers Snowy. "I'm packing my things and ...

go away!” said little bear.
Next morning a big iceberg was moving towards the Big Earth.
Snowy waved “Good bye” to his parents and jumped on it.
While his travelling to the unknown places Snowy dreamed about exotic islands, magic fish…
When the iceberg was moving along the sea shore a little bear started looking for his friends.
On the coast not far from the river which flew unto the ocean he saw a Mother-bear with two small funny brother-bears playing happily together.
Snowy swam to the family and they made friends quickly. Sometime later the Mother-bear came and asked all little bears to have dinner.
“Who is it?”- wondered she.
“It is Snowy, our new friend.
He is a polar bear! He has come from the North Pole!”- cried her sons together.
“May I have dinner with you?”- asked Snowy. “Yes, please!”-answered a kind Mother-bear.
They sat down around a wooden table. “Today we have tasty berries for dinner” - she said.
Snowy had never seen berries before, so he scared greatly because these berries were red like a fire!
He decided not to eat them and asked for something else to eat.
“Sometimes we go fishing and eat fish”- told him the Mother-bear.
“In autumn when fish go spawning we have a lot of fish, real fishing days, but now there isn`t enough fish in the river”.
After dinner little brothers began playing again.
Poor Snowy was too sad to play with them.
He looked at the strange green forest, red berries, narrow warm river and remembered his favorite white ice rocks, cold water with ice floes in it,
icy wind, polar lights in the dark sky…his mother… he missed her very much. He decided to come back home as soon as possible!
When he returned home he was so happy to see his dearest parents!
He decided never leave his home.
Now he believed in his mother`s words “East or west home is best!”
