an awful creature, at least I thought so at that moment. It was like a nightmare: a huge, dreadful polar bear was approaching me. I can assure you, I was scared to death. But I am afraid one can not understand it, beacause not a person have had such a feeling, nor have experienced it. Good for you! I can not say I was trembling, shaking or what. I am not sure I was aware of anything at that moment. It was like in slow motion: I saw it coming but I couldn’t mouth a word. I was not able to move, frozen like a statue, a desperate one. I tried to work out anything helpful, but failed. Then, out of a sudden, I saw a little bear cub heading for its mum, for its huge scary but loyal mum. They were facing each other and then the cub hurriedly ran and hid by its dear mum. They stood for a moment and then started moving in the opposite direction. I watched them disappearing until lost sight of them. Little by little I got over the shock and returned to the camp to tell everybody about the meeting. My mates tried to console me, and when I was finally able to calm down, I started thanking God for what He had done to me. Believe me, that is good for you not to have seen a polar bear ten metres away. That is so good for you!
