The announcer said: “Sochi is the geographical centre of Russian subtropics and the warmest place in Russia. The sun shines 250 days a year here. Sometimes it snows but not every year. Everybody says that Sochi is a fantastic town”. “Oh, clear cut! I’m going to Sochi”- Snowy thought. A few hours later his plane lands in Sochi. Together with other tourists the comfortable bus takes him to the centre of the Summer City. During his traveling Snowy looked at the unique and rich nature: box and yew trees, palm trees, bananas and other exotic plants. The trees are green, the flowers are of different colours, the sea is blue, the sun is shining brightly. Snowy likes the nature very much. “I suppose it’s very nice to swim in the sea”. He left the bus and went to the beach. He jumped into the water and starts swimming. The water was very warm for him. Snowy was swimming and swimming. Far away he saw green mountains. Only the tops of them were covered with snow. Snowy remembered his Mum and Dad, Arctic snow and ice. “Oh, how I miss my parents and my native place. East or West – home is best,”- thought Snowy and decided to go back home.
